You’re so welcome, Linda. I thought the word generous was striking, and touching too. It made me think about my own faith, my obedience, my giving to the Lord… if it was always as generous as it should have been…

The photo works beautifully with the verse. We are in the slump after the “season of giving” and I need the reminder to be generous still.

It’s certainly true that certain seasons and incidents move us to give more than at other times but God asks more than seasonal giving of us. To keep His word with a generous heart calls for a complete offering of ourselves to him to use as He pleases. And that can be so hard for me a lot of the time.
