Lent 38 ~ Will I See My Lord Again?

Tonight, I ask the question that burns on many hearts,

Will I see my Lord again?

For some of us, Easter is an almost certainty. But for many, even the morrow is in doubt.

Will I see my Lord again?

    1. Let’s hold the faith, Ana. For ourselves. For those in fear and for those who no longer can do anything for themselves. We might be all they have left. It is Good Friday where I am and joining many other Catholics, I intend to spend it in atonement of my own sins and for the reparation of others’.
Eternal God, I offer Thee the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Thy dearly Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, in atonement for my sins and for the sins of the world.
For the sake of His Most Sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

      1. In my experience, if you feel that way, it means God is calling you to a specific response – perhaps different from others’ around you. Whenever I felt this way, I used to think maybe I’m nuts – only to be proven not later.
Answer His call, Ana. I will pray for you from here.

  1. Dear Caitlynne today I went to the Cathedral – our Parish – collected flowers from our garden and laid them at the foot of the huge Crucifix which is right in front of the Church.
The occupants of few cars driving past stared. I wondered if one of them might report me (my husband was there too) for a public gathering – hahahaha I thought – regardless of what happens I will honour our Lord.
I then went inside to pray at the Tabernacle, to be with Him who is Risen. Alleluia!
Maybe that was my small “do something.”
May your heart be aflame with love today and filled with the glow of the Light of the Risen One. Alleluia He is truly Risen. Amen
